Successful People are purposeful and ambitious people.TO put it upside down "Purposeful and ambitious people are successful in life".Now how to have a purpose in your life?

Should I ask my parent,My teacher,My friend or My neighbour for the answer?

The one thing that you should never ever do is Don't let other decide what your purpose is in life.It is your life and only you have the right as well as wisdom to decide what is your purpose in life.

You can have "no purpose" as your purpose of life and you can have "To become the President of the country " as your purpose in life.Even you can have a silly thing like "to earn money and eat food to stay alive" or "to be the road side romeo" as your purpose of life.

OK What my purpose of this post was to share with you a method to find a true purpose of your life.I believe into this method and you have the right to think or believe in any other manner or method.

Follow the following steps:

• Sit in a room with a paper pen or a PC with an excel sheet.

• Ensure that nobody can disturb you for at least 2-3 hours,and that you don't need to go outside leaving the exercise halfway.

• Make two columns on spreadsheet(or paper),ist as the serial no and second as "My purpose in Life".

• Start writing your purpose in life,in the second column,just write anything that you believe,trust,feels or anything serious non serious that comes to your mind.Keep putting down the serial no in ist column and keep reading the list when you stuck somewhere and don't have any idea as to what to write.

• A stage will come(probably after 50-100 serial no when you will find the line defining your very purpose for whole life.Now how will you know that you know what line or words those are.The answer is when you will read that phrase you will feel your whole existence and you will be having an intense desire to achieve that thing.I would not be any angry or fearful desire but a purposeful desire to accomplish that thing.There will be definitely tears in your eyes.

That's all.Don't believe me that if it works or not?Why don't you give it a try.At least it will be a fun.That's all for now,Take care.

Is There Any Purpose In Life?

I am not a philosopher,I m a layman.Sometimes out of my repetitive schedule when I took a moment to breath leaving my work load,my mind asks me foolish questions as to what am I doing?Is there any purpose of life or we are just wasting our life for nothing.

These are basically two questions.First one is if there is any purpose behind our existence? and second is more personal question of if I have a purpose in life or if I am living a purposeful life.

I spent a few moment(extending to a few months) of my small life to find a satisfactory answer.Here just I am sharing the final answer that I got after so much confused days.I am not a scientist or a philosopher so you don't need to agree to me or to believe my believes.

In actually there is no purpose behind your existence.Your existence is just a accidental permutation and combination of all accidental happenings that were beyond any one's cont role.(so your friends and boss are right,you are an accident.

To put it in a more serious way the universe has no preconceived plan or intention behind any newborn baby or human figure.We are just a movement and transformation of one form of energy and material to the other by some accidentally developed ways.(no I am not confused,I know what I am saying).

I try to say it in layman language.You are born and now if you die tomorrow it does not matter to universe or even if you remain a burden of earth,I mean you remain alive for next 100 years,it does not make much difference to the universe.Because Universe just know about moving and continuous change.But there are no predefined changes and no expected changes.So Life or universe has no purpose behind your existence or for your life.

Some people put forward spiritual or religious achievement as the final goal of human life as they consider humans superior than other creatures we see around.No hard feelings for them and with due respect to the religion,What I feel and believe(and that is the truth you will arrive someday) there is no after life and you were never existed before your birth.Even some people doubt if we are existing in reality or just an illusion of our own mind or some other force.And we are not superior than other creatures.We are a work in progress as are the other creatures in there own realm.And I believe that we are not born to fulfill any higher spiritual goal as a humans but just a part of the accidental reproduction cycle to produce a copies of our race even without our knowing it consciously.

No I am not at all confused,I clearly know what I believe.In short life does not have any purpose for you and there is no such force as life or conscious universe that want some plan to be completed by the mighty human child.There are no purpose in life.

But as long as you are alive you should have a purpose in your life.Wish you a purposeful life by your own choice.Take care.

Money Verses Wealth

All year long,every day we get up just to go to work for earning (rather getting) money.But what Money actually is?Is it really important?What is Wealth?Is it same as money?

The best definition of Money that I have ever read is "money is an idea in your mind".

So every day we are just running after an Idea!! Isn't it foolish?

Certainly not.Money is currency ,Money is Property,Money is your claim to the work and output of others labour,Money is your Purchasing value in a productive market,It is a the value of your hard work that you provide to the society.Currency notes and coins are just the symbols,but it is the Idea behind that symbols that is actual money.

Now many people in the world,specially my idealistic uncle "Chelaram" says that money is not at all important.Accumulating money is sinful because it makes you do bad deeds to others.They claim that the lure of money either transform you into an insensitive machine or an disgraceful animal.They are right and they are wrong.Money can make you insensitive to human emotions and make you a totally automated machine like your kitchen toaster.Now they say that then why you want to be a kitchen toaster.Why not to remain a human by being away from money and earning only that is enough for arranging for a square meals.

Then there are the realistic and so called practical people also who are the exact opposite.In practical sense they are the real money machine.Working 24X7 for earning more and more money.Making huge deals and putting every penny saved in big investments.Saving as much as possible to save for their retirement that they can still enjoy the luxuries life,they are living ,even after stop working.Family,friends,neighbour,parents all come after money.After all they are earning for their sake too.So its OK if they miss a few parent teacher meetings or they don't remember their parents birthday or their own marriage anniversary,after all they are earning for their happiness only.Even if they are having high blood pressure at such an early stage or having symptoms of sugar or heart attack.You can't blame them,it's not that easy to earn money,life is indeed very stressful and money is the only important thing.

But in actual reality is money that important?The answer is yes and no.

Yes money is very important in the areas in which it works,like if you have to buy something in a market or you have to pay for your electricity,credit card bills or you have to spend for your parents eye surgery or for your children's school fees.

And no money is not important in the areas of life where it does not work.Like for being happy you do not need money( don't believe that??),for being healthy you do not need that much money,for staying alive or continuous breathing or to make others happy or to make new friends or to find your soul mate you don't need money.So money is not at all important in these areas.

So what to do? to run blindly after money because I want a big car for my mother,best and most expensive education institution for my children and diamond jewellery for my wife or to stay away from it as money is not that important for me as compare to my family and friends.

The right way is to take a conscious decision.Take a paper and write all the things you dream of,that you think make happy living.Now just don't only write the latest gizmo's and gadgets that the advertising media has bombard on you also consider the kind of relations,love,heath and your spiritual believes and desires along with them.Now on that paper you will find many thing that require a huge chunk of money and there will be things that are free of cost available to you and are even more important than money,like having a brother like friend.So you will get a rough idea of the kind of wealth you want to accumulate in your life.

Earning wealth should be your goal,not just money.Wealth is much more than money.It is what make you happy and full filled in your life.

One last thing,on that paper if all those costly luxuries that complete your picture of happiness are giving stress to you and you are worrying that you will never be able to become happy then the first thing you need to do is stop worrying and start believing.Dream as big as possible.Because in the end there are only two things that determines where you land,your dreams and your efforts to chase them.

Laws of Success

The world is a complex system of cause and effect.Everything that happens is because of some forces,some cause's or like I like to put it,result of somebody's effort.In this cause and effect relationship there exist some (so-called) laws of success.Here I am putting some beliefs of leading (so-called) success mantra guru's about various laws of success :

Law of attraction:
You get what you work for.But this law says doing comes after thinking.You get(attract) what you think.Say if you are starting a round of negotiation with a new deal with your customer and you think that you will lose the round then certainly you will lose it.Or say if you expect that in exam only those questions will come that you have skipped while preparing certainly that will happen.It says that along with working for your success you should expect to succeed also.If you expect for a defeat you are defeated even before trying the thing.You usually hear people saying that think positive,this law is the underlying assumption behind that saying.You attract what you think.Thing the devil and there is devil in every person and think of angel and there you see angel in everything.All is in your thinking otherwise there are just plain facts.But you will get the final result in the form of your own expectation only.So always expect the best and work for that.Remember the law of attraction if you want to attract success expect success too.

Law of Earning:
In this economics world some people earn that much in a year that is equal to the life saving of other people after their whole effort.Why some people are paid so high and some families struggle for a square meal.This law explains why your boss earns more than the peon below you though both have same physical hardware.Law of earning says that "your earning is directly proportional to the value that you create in a market place".Now that is a very tricky definition.Simply put value is anything that is considered necessary,vital,attractive,important,valuable in a marketplace.So you earn in directly proportional to the value that others derive from your work.Say if I am a peon that my work is not that important to my market customers but if I am a marketing head handling all export marketing then to a company as well as to my market place or customer base my value is much more and I am paid accordingly.Or say if I am selling diamonds and my brother is selling toothbrush then guess who will earn more ??Now there are many more factors also that you should consider before coming to any conclusion.You are paid as per the following formulae:

Quantity+Quality+Supply+Demand=Earning

Here this demand is what's I mean by the value of your work.More people want your service/product more your demand more is the value of your work.But other factors like the quantity in which you supply or deliver your service,the quality of your product or your service or and the actual supply that you are able to cater against the demand affects your level of earning.In short want to earn more the work you do should be more valuable to market people.Remember value is decided from market's point of view not from your personal point of view.

And in the above example my brother earned more than me by selling toothbrush.As we were operating in semi urban and rural area where demand of toothbrush is more as compare to diamonds.So the other factor is if you are earning less than similar other people than think that is there any other market where my product or service is more important than my current market or company.I changed my mind and opened a store in a metro city and now I earn more than my brother.This is the law of earning.You earn in direct proportion to value you deliver.
Law of importance or what really matters:

What is our purpose ? What should I do?What really matters?If in your life you have ever asked any of these questions then this law gives you a new insight in life.What is that which is really important or that matters in life.This laws says that "the importance of a thing lies in the value you assign to it".In other word only those things are of worth giving importance that you think are important.More confussed ??

Ok lets say you work for some small company as a creative executive in designing department.Every year appraisal comes but you got no appraisal this year as your boss is a jerk.Now is appraisal important for you and you should feel bad for not getting promotion.How to decide that??Only you have the answer.If you think that it is important then it is important otherwise it is nothing for the universe so you do not need to take any stress for not getting promoted as you are only the creativity learning of your job is what matters to you.Now got more confused??

What matters a beautiful wife with no brains or an intelligent and caring wife but having average looks.What really matters.It depands upon your thinking.Your inclination.To some people having a brand name on their shoes is as necessary as breathing and to others just a good quality shoes with comfort at an affordable price serves best.Now people hype about the brands but is that what really matters or important? it you who have to decide not the media.Work of media is just to sell more and more to earn money from advertising,their bread and butter comes from that.But you have to decide if it really matters or not.

Now I directly comes to the application of this law.In life every time others will tell you a lot about what you do or you don't do.When you have to decide as to what matters or what not then in the end its your own belief and opinion what matters not the others. Why you seems more confused now??Any way remember only that matters that you yourself give importance.

Law of doing and having:

Coming back to the track.Expericence is a necessity for success,How you become experienced and skilled in a particular thing.This law explains that.This law says that "more you use a thing more you have that thing".

Say you want to be a great maeketer.The answer is more you do selling(marketing) more you come near to your goal.You want to be great communicator speak more eloquently and speak more.You want to be great singer practise more singing.

Now there seems to be a flaw in this law as my friend "king" speaks a lot but still he is not a great communicator.Then the following line completes the law:

Old Saying:"Practise makes you perfect"

New saying: "Perfect Practice makes you Perfect"

But in the end more you use a thing more you have that thing.Like more you use your brain more intelligent you become,more you use patience more you have patience,more you use bravery more brave you become.Is it possible more you use money more you have money ?? Ponder over it !!

Law of Success and happiness:

We all want happiness,by the way What is happiness??Well it's answer compromises this law.

"Success is having what we want,happiness is wanting what we have"

So now a failure can be happy.Just love the things you have and you will be happy.Now and forever.Success is not a prerequisite to be happy but just an add-on.

Something About Makeing Goals

Successful people have goals in life.To take it upside down if you want to be successful you need to have goals.I remember all the books that I have read on success all emphasis on this fact that make your goals,Decide where you want to be,What is your purpose.

So have goals in life.Now the question is how to make great goals.Below I am listing a few ways that can help while establishing your goals.

Use SMART technique

This technique says make goals that are SMART

S : Specific
M : Measurable
A : Attainable
R : Realistic
T : Time Bound

Make Goals for various life segment:

Rather than making just one or two big goals make goals for all the area of you life.Like you can divide your life into following life sections and make short-term and long-term goals for them

Personal maintains(Health,hygiene,basic needs)
Social (Family/Friends/Networking)
Knowledge/Learning/Skills
Value Creation (Source of income)
Financial (your financial planning)
Education
Dreams/Adventures

make any focused area that you wish.Like I have mentioned 7 areas of life that covers almost everything of our life,still you can have your own focused area list and make short-term goals/challenges for your self.The purpose of this is to build a bird eye view of where your life is going and where you want to go.

While making goals keep in mind the following things :

Make big goals

Dream big.Do not make goals just by considering your resources.Dream as big as you want (But with serious intentions,not for fun) and the resources can be created or managed

Make goals for short-term and for long terms.

Make goals for

your life,

For next 5 years,

For next one year

and for next 3 months.

Write down your goals

Plan with a paper nd pen.usually we don't like much to pendown our goals.But if you are serious about them just pen them down on paper,in your notebook.

Make action plans

After writing your short-term and long-term goals write activity's required to accomplish them.Make shure your activities are time bound.Follow your rough action plan from the next moment and edit it on the way to your achievement.

Review your goals on weakly basis

Every weekend give some time for this goal setting and for reviewing your past activities and future activities for your goals.Review how your goals are going.

Avoid the Over Planning syndrome,Start Action

Many a times what we plan never happens.Do not just remain occupied in planning every details.Make a specific goal like reducing your weight by 5 KG in next 3 months and start working on that.Action is the main thing otherwise goal is a just an artificial way of self fulfilment.Remember we plan for achieving goals.Not for the sake of just making goals.

Once Decided,Do not change your goals easily

We have a inherent habit of taking the shortest path to success or to avoid things that create stress or to choose the path of least resistence.But if you have made a goal do not ever change it when you face hurdles.Stick to your goals in all situations.Change them only if they become meaningless to you or they seems unrealistic after your initial effort.

THe next thing after making goal is just action....action.....action.Remember the three d's for Action
